Many people ask this question, and a few years ago the answer was simple, Desktops are cheaper but laptops are portable so buy the laptop if you need to take your computer around, but otherwise buy the desktop. BUT, today I don't believe that is true. Laptop prices have come down, and for $1000 you can get a laptop that will perform all your small business needs and also is light and portable. I use a laptop for all my business needs, and I recommend you do also.

Let's get this straight, you do not need the latest and greatest, the most powerful or impressive computer. Why? because the computer has to do one job only, support your business.
